A weak storm arrived Friday, but it should be gone by Saturday... lots of sun on tap this weekend.
Friday's storm brought a few sprinkles and higher elevation light showers, but expect the sun to dominate this weekend. A moderate pressure gradient will develop across California, so expect a breezy north wind Saturday. Winds should gust to 25 mph, and diminish by Sunday.
The sun continues through midday Tuesday, then the weather pattern changes dramitically. North Pacific storms will target the North State from Wednesday though Friday, and they look much stronger than what we've seen recently. No strong and gusty winds, but decent rain potential, and some chilly air associated with them... expect snow levels to lower. It's still a ways out, but I'd put the snow level around 3000'... still above Magalia and the rest of the ridge, but not much.
Enjoy the sunshine while it's here!
