Daily Weather

Another storm Sunday

Friday's storm was a healthy winter storm.  We've got another one headed our way early Sunday, then it's back to sunshine!

The week ended wet and windy.  Winds gusted to around 35 mph in the Valley, while Burney reported a 60 mph gust!  Rain totals in the Valley Friday ranged from 1/3" to 2/3".  Good snow accumulations in the mountains, with Chester receiving around 6".  Showers will continue Friday night, but by Saturday, it will turn partly cloudy.  A new storm will arrive early Sunday morning, but it looks a little warmer and much weaker... not nearly as much rain or mountain snow.  By Sunday afternoon, it should be gone, and the weather for the Christmas Preview in Chico looks great!

Next week will see high pressure return to the North State, which will warm us up and dry us out.  Expect plenty of sun, with Valley highs in the 60's.
