Greetings fellow news fans.  It's nice to be talking to you in a less formal setting.  Here's hoping this forum can help you better understand what we do at Action News, and perhaps offer some useful information along the way.

First, thank you to all the viewers who called or emailed us about the bright light they saw in the sky Tuesday night.  My buddy Kris Kuyper tells me it was the end of the Leonid Meteor Shower.  Sounds like I missed a pretty show in the sky.  Thanks to your eyes and ears out there, we were able to track down the info you requested and present it on Action News at Eleven.

Your emails and phone calls are invaluable to us.  Sometimes we'll get a call from a viewer who is upset because we didn't cover a story that they thought should be on the news.  In some cases, we would have covered the story, but we didn't know about it.  That's the thing about the news business.  As good as our reporters, producers and assignment editors are, we cannot possibly know about every story that's happening.  So if you have news, give us a call or email us.  news@knvn.com or 343-1212.   Thanks for watching!  Kelli
